I agree it is far nicer. The Queen ought to wear something regal on our coins (and also on our banknotes) and I really do not care for Susana Blunt's effigy. I would prefer if the monarchical nature of our government were celebrated rather than minimized on our money as he feel is too often the case. Although Canada's Edward VII coins were far more regal than those of anywhere else.

Just in case you are unaware of this (it is rather worthless information after all) It is tradition to reverse the direction the monarch faces with each new reign. The reason that the two George's faced in the same direction was to account for Edward VIII, to pretend that he would have faced right if any coins had been minted. Although Edward had actually made T.H. Paget design the image so it faced left as he felt that was his better side.
