Indeed, and Victoria Day is taking place within a month (assuming that TRH are participating in celebrations commemorating our Sovereign's official Canadian birthday). The government's silence on this upcoming tour makes one wonder whether they are more interested in promoting the Queen and the Duke of Cambridge than they are the Prince of Wales (given the supposedly lacklustre tour in 2009), thus colluding with a widespread popular opinion (i.e. "no one cares about Prince Charles"), as if individual members of the royal family are simply "brands." I sincerely hope not. Maybe government cuts have something to do with it (how much does it cost to issue even a brief statement, assuming the details of the tour have been worked out - and there was more advance notice of this tour than there was of last year's tour)? I don't know.
