When our Queen and Philip crashed a wedding on the way to lunch at the town hall in Manchester yesterday, the joy was such that it reminded me, of their wonderful humanity, which knows know nationality.
This is their greatest gift to all of over 60 years and yes, we know this.
The groom invited them, the palace, declined, but there they were.
The Queen of hearts.
