The civics curriculum is terrible and, unfortunately, reflects many other provincial education documents. In the current version there is no mention of responsible government, prime minister, cabinet, crown, monarch, queen, governor general, lieutenant governor and even PARLIAMENT! We have tried to remedy this at our school, but it is a national problem. A letter was sent to the Minister of Education by a group of concerned citizens to the Minister of Education last year with no results.
