I've noticed that too and I have to say that I agree. When I watched the Canada Day celebrations, it looked slightly awkward when the GG and PM were all singing O Canada but not the Duke and Duchess. It does sort of make them look like they're visiting a foreign country rather than a Commonwealth Realm that they will one day be King and Queen of. It's a small thing, but it would be a nice touch.
