That's all very interesting, but my point is that the Canadian government officially uses la Fete de la Reine as the French equivalent of Victoria Day. If you can read French, check out the website: http://www.pch.gc.ca/pgm/ceem-cced/jfa-ha/victoria-fra.cfm
