I thought the local Vancouver Island station Chek is now independent of Global as they bought it out but it seemed they had the exact same news cast with a reporter by the name of Roberts who said there were "200" people who turned out to greet the royal couple as they went into the full Christ Church cathedral. The other local station -A Channel also had a reporter say the same thing. When I watched the CTV newsnet coverage they showed both sides of the street with many people outside the church as the couple departed and the annoucer before the piece said it was "hundreds". To me it looked like more than just 200 also.
