With respect, I don't agree with your approach on this. It just seems wholly unrealistic to me to say that ANY members of the Royal Family are "Canadian" in any sense other than legal/constitutional. I don't think a strategy of trying to "Canadianize" the individual members of the Royal Family is plausible at all. Canada's sovereign and heirs are British. Pretending otherwise is entirely unconvincing. Prince Charles has visited Canada 16 times. That doesn't (and couldn't) make him "Canadian". He doesn't HAVE to be Canadian to be Canada's sovereign. Pretending he is a "Canadian Prince" in the sense you appear to mean that phrase is at odds with reality.
