- The Prince of Wales had what looked like a UK Royal Standard on his vehicle; does he have a standard for use in Canada?
- Most spectators had Canadian and Newfoundland flags in their hands; a Union Jack was also prominently present. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with this, but does not it provide a vastly different message to Canadians (i.e. this is an act of mere British diplomacy as opposed to a Canadian "homecoming)?
