If he has shown a bit more favour, then it is just that: a bit. What took his government so long to invite Her Majesty to open the olympic games in my city (which IIRC, they still have not actually done)? What about reversing the whole Letters of Credence/Recall issue? Aside from one quick comment regarding Rideau Hall's failures, nothing has been done by the Federal Government to remedy the situation. There is much Harper's government could do that it has not. I don't think that this is a logical reason to go around brown-nosing Harper and his party.
