I was going through the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website, and look what I found:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-federal-gov.asp
Apparently the Governor General is the Queen of England's representative for Canada and apparently the legislative branch is made up of the GG, Senate, and Commons.
Maybe someone should inform them that the last Queen of England died more than 200 years back.
Why can't they get it right? I mean come on, "Queen of England" on a Government site?!?
The Governor General is the federal representative of the Canadian monarch and the Legislative Branch consists of the Queen, Senate, and Commons, as decreed by the Constitution (have they ever read it I wonder?).
Can someone please contact them to correct, I'm not up to it.
