Historical question-1959 opening of St. Lawrence Seaway

When the Seaway was formally opened in 1959 by HM, Canadian PM Diefenbaker and US President Eisenhower, did Ike come to Canada by train? I've tried the various railway sites and no one seems to know the answer so I thought I'd try here. Thanks.
