I would like to think opening the Winter Olympics in February has gone to the Governor General's head but it is written that a country's Head-of-State opens the Olympics they host and, well, the Governor General is the one officially opening the Olympics. It would be SWEEET !!! If the Prime Minister would step in and contact VANOC and Her Majesty to arrange for the real Constitutional Head-of-State to open the Olympics that person being our Sovereign Queen. Thus putting the unruly dumbfounded Governor General in her place, she needs to look at a $20. bank note, the back of a coin, or a postage stamp it seems, to get a clue.
