1) Why, in the 1947 Letters Patent, does the phraseology use the word "Our" so many times as opposed to "My?" Similarily, why do the viceroys never refer to the government as "my Government" any more?
2) According to the Rideau Hall website, the GG informs the Sovereign following the dissolution of a Parliament. What is the meaning behind this and when was the last time it happened?
3) Who extends the Governor General's "term?" The Queen on ministerial advice, or the PM himself?
4) What (theoretically) could be a rationale for the dismissal of a Governor General?
