In my view or as I see things one has to look back to the late 1940's and follow successive governments to this day. What one will find that if not for the Monarchist League there has been a slow and gradual dismantling of that which represents our difference's to that of a puppet republic and that of a Commonwealth Realm by government social engineers. Small things such as a Immigration Act not favoring free movement of people and goods between ours and other Commonwealth Realms regardless of race, creed, or colour in favor of people from republics, or refugee's; replacing the ensign; not singing God save the Queen/King at official functions; Making Canadians think that Canada's Supreme Court is the court of last Appeal rather than that of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (UK); Canadian Indian Act moving away from the guarantee of protection by the monarchy threw the Royal Proclamation of 1763 to name but a few although I could go on and on. So I feel the greatest threat to the Canadian Monarchy is "Social Engineers" at the top levels of Government in Canada and their subtle slow re engineering of Canada. So slow it goes unnoticed so that each generation loses a bit more with our realizing it.
