I agree that the GG's website is very misleading. Heck if you go to the Australia GG's website, the GG is listed as the Queen's Representative.
I would suggest we start a letter campaign not to Rideau Hall, who will no doubt send replies about the Letters Patent of 1947, but rather to the PMO. We know for a fact that the current PM has made a habit of putting the current GG in the proper constitutional place.
