I'm really fed up with the Governor General's website. The site only mentions the Queen's role as head of state once and then goes on to say that the GG is the representative of the Crown not the Queen.
If you go to the roles and responsibilities page (http://gg.ca/gg/rr/index_e.asp) it states that parliament is made up of three parts, the house, the senate and the GG! Last time I checked in the constitution it was the house, the senate and the Queen.
I think it's high time we do something about it.
