The protocol at the event was so mixed up it was not funny. They had the Governor General leading the procession of senior dignitaries, so she had to wait in the aisle in order for the PM and various other VVIPs to take their seat (she should have been the last to take her seat, just before the mourning family). Not one mention of LeBlanc serving as the Queen's representative. It was depressing to watch such a poorly run event on TV. LeBlanc's medals were carried incorrectly, and the list goes on.
