I teach in Vancouver and I can say that on our side their presence in schools is spotty. Some schools have the latest ones... some schools have ones dating back to the Silver Jubilee. Some have ones dating back to the 1950s. Quite often with the older ones, they are being removed, but not being replaced. Their replacement depends on whether there are principals and staff inclined to put new ones up. There is no district-wide policy requiring them to be put up. Doesn't bode well for the next reign.
