The visit itself is pleasant. The grounds are beautiful and the building magnificent.
Don't be shy about stating fact to the guide; I phoned Rideau Hall and cited the Dominion Institute's results on young people having poor knowledge of our history. I told them it's not OK for incomplete or incorrect info to be coming from such an important place as Rideau Hall. I asked that guides be given proper professional development before imparting information to visitors.
