You hit your assessment of Her Excellency on the mark. I dined with a ultra left wing republican a few months back at a function I was attending. He had just recieved his Order of Canada from HE a few weeks prior. He stated that he was greatly impressed with HE, and looks forward to more GGs like her. The irony of the entire situation was staggering.
