Rideau Hall sold several items associated with the Royal Family at auction for less than $1000. A set of three sterling silver flower baskets were amongst the items that originated in Buckingham Palace and were later used at Rideau Hall for years. What are the people who run Rideau Hall thinking? These people are out of control. No doubt they just looked at the items and said "oh they are old and British, we don't need those." The Government needs to fire a few people over there systemic incompetence and ignorance. They should start with the Secretary and all her cronies. It is beginning to look as though Rideau Hall is above the rules on everything. While the GG’s northern trip is going well Rideau Hall is having a yard-sale selling off Canada’s history and heritage.
