Oh, IT'S ON, now, buddy!

Gus, I already am bashing a U-505 from the Nichimo mold - so the competition will be on, now! |
Except, I'm afraid you will beat me - hands down - as I've recently taken a hard look around here and decided I absolutely must finish off the builds promised for others - starting with my Boxer - before everything or anything else.
As for larger-scale whaleboats, I'm trying to remember what came in my 240-scale Revell 4-stacker box - that's pretty close to 1/200, if all else fails - and I'll look into it. I also have a 200-ish scale Lindberg LSD - will look at just what's in that box, as well. Of course, Nichimo themselves were big on 200-scale kits - particularly the Yamatos - so maybe one of our loyal lurkers can help you out, from that angle. Finally, it seems to me a number of sailing ship kits were made in- and around 200 scale - practically all of them with (at least one) whaleboat included.
Meanwhile, go ahead and use any- and all reference/assistance you can get out of our U-505 Group Build thread (and feel free to add more, if you will) and show us what you got, buddy!
