I don't know about ".50s", but beautiful little PE 20mms are included on about every GMM fret for this scale - and doubtless also several others including Tom's ModelWorks', for example (though I must admit personal partiality to Loren's GMM).
And Mike, if you meant to say "40mms" (which you should have
), those are AVAILABLE FROM MATT STEIN MODELS - you only have to eMail me see- and get a quote for them, as they're not yet posted on the Matty's Models website. Their status is the same as the twin-3"50s - guns and mounts finished "to a (tasty) T" and already mass-produced, with only their tubs still receiving further "tweaking" before I'll call them the best possible for release. Meantime, again just like the 3"50s there are some quite respectable developmental tub prototypes available, if needed. (Again, I'm going to get together a major update posted here ASAP...)
And I concurr entirely regarding the Revell bridge - except chances are it would require accurization in any case, as there were multiple wartime bridge fits - at least three I can think of right off the top of my head - from rounded destroyer-like conning towers to boxy, RN cruiser-type ones, and probably everything in between.
Now, keep a sharp lookout for that Chicago, too!
Cheers,
-Matty
