I didn't realize the Helenas were out already! Okay, gotta figure out some way to sneak one past the Fair Melissa....
Now, just a heads-up regarding a couple of things on the kit:
1. That bow, which we already know about. I used the Chicago hull to make a template to get the Baltimore bow back into shape. It worked pretty well, but if I were to do it a second time I'd pack sprue into the stem to give you some additional material to work with- I came very close to a grind-thru on the Boston bow. It only took me about an hour, and the result was a far more accurate bow.
2. The bridge. I've got the Revell Baltimore in its Pittsburgh incarnation, and what you get is the kit in its wartime armament and aircraft rig with what looks to be the postwar bridge - or just a bad representation of the late wartime bridge. Either way, it's gonna need some work but it's not outrageous.
Now - how are we gonna make all those .50s and 20mms we're gonna need......
