I most definitely see your point here - my thinking (FWIW)is that most modelers would say, "Yes, I'm getting that beautiful hull, but then I'm stuck with all these spare parts." I'd say 90% of the guys who find themselves making the call would decide to get the prosthetic hull - it's faster, far easier (no pesky measurements or rebuilding in that tricky stern area) and you know the quality and skill that went into the parts.
