...The hull and upper works are made of basswood. the flight deck is also basswood scribed to look like planks...

...(I am) using the new (Matt Stein Models) 40mms prototypes. These are just the greatest...although I snagged one of the barrels with a nail. The 40mms are very easy to use and the fact that they come with a gun tub makes them a MUST HAVE for anyone working in this scale...

...I have finally gotten comfortable working with the (Matt Stein Models) 5" 38 singles...I use a steel pin for the barrel...heated and inserted. very easy! Just (a) great product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
