Posted by Potters Place Mission Dear saints, As you know from 2001 till the present, Potter's Place Mission (PPM) has been faithful in the following ministries : We are writing this letter to highlight on the situation we are currently facing at "Powell House" which urgently requires your prayers and financial support. We purchased "Powell House" last year to provide board and lodging to people who want to change life style and be helped. The students are not charged for the housing/food. However, they are required to give up living on welfare. PPM is committed to disciple and train them. Our approach is to provide a secure place where these students can receive food, acceptance, counseling, spiritual guidance, teaching and an opportunity to change their lifestyle. Currently, there are 7 residents there but we have give up "Powell House" as there is a limit to the number of people who can reside there. To rebuild or rezone this place would cost much more. As such, we have been purchsed a new place and thank the Lord, we found one but we need an extra of C$200,000.00 as "Powell House" can be sold for only C$207,250.00 and the new place costs C$417,000.00. We cannot afford further mortgage and the students have to leave by 28th of July 2004. it is a critical situation and we ask that you, as our partners in His Kingdom, will prayerfully consider and support us in whatever contributions the LORD will put in your hearts to do so. Please give me a call (604-537 8717) if you need me to share with you more regarding this . Thank you and the LORD continue to bless you in your labour of love for HIM.
