Hello Police Community Officer!
Many thanks indeeed for forwarding this info onto me.
The actual Robinson family members I am trying to trace at the moment are Joseph B.1828/30 Misterton(he is a bit lax about his age on the census returns!), his wife Mary B. 1830 Everton, and their family: Alice, John, James, Ellen, Albert, Ada and Elizabeth. all born between Harworth, Everton and Martin?
I believe that Josephs parents were Samuel and Mary although I think that Samuel was born abt. 1780 so there may be a generation missing, but samuel was also born Misterton.
I am related to John Robinson from Everton and Scrooby who did have a copy of a family tree produced around 1920, but this has obviously either been lost over the years, or has been passed down through his family. I am related to him through his sister Ellen.(Josephs daughter)
I can only hope that someone reads this message and realises that this is the same connection as theirs!
So many thanks indeed for your help,
Penny

: I am at present tracing my family tree which
: comes back to the Robinson family of
: Misterton.
: My Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandfather(Samuel Robinson)
: was the last in the line of the family to
: use the hand loom for weaving.
: Is there anyone in the village who has
: knowledge of this family?
: Also does anyone know if there exists a list
: of gravestone inscriptions in the Parish
: Church Yard?
: I am having to contact you like this as I
: live in Argyll, Scotland, and visiting the
: area is not possible at this present time.
: Hoping that someone may be able to help me
