I'm trying to find any information on the surename 'Major' from the misterton/west Stockwith area from 1860-1920'ish
I have absolutely nothing, other than my long departed grandmothers story that they had a village store in W.Stockwith (but it maybe could have been misterton).
Anyone with ANY kind of information on the surname linked to the area please could you let me know.
