Greetings from the Center of Wilbraham! I put a notice on classmates.com that I would like to start planning the 30th reunion for the Class of 74 (since it appears no one else is doing anything). I am thinking of taking the easy way out and working with a "professional" reunion planning company. We could use Scott's great site (thanks Scott), classmates.com, and the alumni section of the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District site (www.hwrsd.org). There's been talk of a combined reunion... I know the classes of 72 and 73 had theirs already... but on the other hand, the more the merrier! You pay for a ticket, you can come! Since this is very late in the reunion planning game, we need to get started. If you are interested in learning more, sharing ideas, whatever, I am going to invite some local classmates over on Friday, May 28th, at 6 p.m. Maybe we could have a few after-work cocktails and shoot the breeze. The reunion planner suggested I get a group together and then call him on a speaker phone to discuss the pros and cons of using a professional, discuss some ideas, etc. Would love to hear from others. E-mail me if you are interested in joining the informal planning group. Some of the local classmates I plan to invite are: Mary Anne Scott Smith (lives in my neighborhood), Marianne Willms, Debbie Hayne, Donna O'Brien, Mary Sheehan and any others I can think of in the meantime... If you know of someone who lives in the area and may want to help, please share my e-mail address with them. Let's get this 30th reunion up and running! Kate.Belsky@charter.net
