Who is the artist?

Hello.
Can anyone shed any light onto a mystery?
A few years ago I bought a beautifull painted agate miniature set into siver and worn as a pendant from an antique/vintage stall. The painting is a butterfly, a 'Small Heath' to be presise.
The detailing is incredible which is what caught my eye initially.
The piece is signed J Bonus or J Bonels, its' hard to tell from the signature.
I haven't been able to find out anything about this artist on the web and was just wondering if anyone may have heard of them in the past.
Its just curiosity but its always nice to know where things have come from and who made them!
