Can anyone help me identify a lovely miniature on ivory containing a drawing room scene with artist completing a portrait of a Lord and Lady, with a whimsical touch...the Lady passing a note to the artist behind the back of the Lord who seems infatuated with his image. The painting is on the lid of a fine box of amboyne under glass and is signed A. Delacourt. Your assistance is appreciated.
