Did you talk to C&C? They fixed some of my neighbors homes siding when it was damaged. I have the same problem as you do, and my home is a just a little newer. I am thinking of replacing all my window sills with real wood that i will treat and paint. I think most people are just getting their house repainted and recauked. Not sure how much your insurance will cover but, good luck!
