Is it just me or do the grocery chains (Safeway, Foodland, Star) suck in Mililani? I go to places like Kapolei, Ewa, Waipio, Kailua, etc. and they have squeaky clean shelves, nice displays, full service deli's, seafood counters and bakeries, and clean shopping carts. I stopped going to Safeway years ago because they are ALWAYS out of stock on ad items and don't bother asking for a rain check. They don't issue those anymore. Who is the buyer there? Foodland is filthy. I saw a shopper take a bad fall there because the floor was all wet. Star is a rip off and they don't have a seafood counter. I'd love a Times in Mauka, Their Kunia store is beautiful! You'd think that in a affluent professional community like Mililani, the shopping might actually be up to snuff!!!!!!
