Saw a news segment on KITV about the possible barring of the Mililani AA team from using the rec 2(?) pool for practices. Apparently, the MTA says residents are complaining that they're monopolizing the swim lanes for 2 hours a few days a week. I can't believe a compromise can't be reached. It would be a damned shame to deny these kids (who happen to be residents too)access to any Mililani facility. And who, aside from MTA, cares if they don't pay for use. Where's the aloha? Is this really a matter of complaints or another shining example of the MTA's insatiable greed? I mean c'mon people, let the kids train in ONE our of pools for crying out loud! I'm sure no one will die if they do.
