I am very glad you attended the meeting and I hope you come again. I had to work and was not able to attend. I am still not happy with any business establishments in our neighborhood! I understand that not everyone thinks the same way I do and maybe I even over-reacted a bit but, I still think building commercial businesses so close to our park and school is not right. I don't know where you live but, I will bet the property value of the homes near the businesses will go down. I also suspect that the businesses will be a distraction to the kids going to and home from the middle school where there is not any now. These businesses will also bring more traffic from cars, trucks and more trash to litter our park and streets. I think the commercial buildings will have a greater negative impact on our neighborhood then a positive one. I guess we will find out unless we do something to stop the development. It is good Castle and Cooke gave more heads up this time on what their plans are, at least now we know in advance what is coming.(unlike the storage facility) I talked to many people and a few told me and I agree, that the storage facility looks ok as presented however, the landscaping used is the design is not usually included or never gets planted.
