Thank you everyone that posted things here. It is great that we are talking about this!
The deadline for the petition signatures was today and we collected 711 signatures from concerned area residents in 10 days! We are not sure what will happen next as we have never done anything like this before but, we want to keep this alive.
The next neighborhood board meeting is Tuesday, 17 Oct. 2006 at Mililani Mauka Elementary School. We should hear more at that time. I believe Mr. Dela Cruz's office has taken some action with a letter to the city planning and zoneing departments. Certified Management has also sent a letter on our behalf, according to what I have heard.
Please come to the neighborhood board meeting and find out with us, what is next and what has been and can be done.
Thanks again to everyone who has helped and given us words of encouragement!
