Resident thanks for your suggestions. We decided on keiki bowling which sounds like fun. My son was really happy which makes me feel soooo good. I never really knew what love was until he came into my life. Thanks again

: How about Mililani Theaters? They have
: a party room upstairs which you can
: rent for $75 if you want to do other
: party stuff like games, cake and
: food (you can buy pizzas or make
: your own food and bring it in). They
: have party packages around $16 per
: person for movie admission, a kid's
: snack pack (drink, candy and
: popcorn) and a hot dog. He gets a
: shirt and the kids get a tour of the
: projection room afterwards, and a
: souvenir strip of film from the
: movie they saw. I think it's
: slightly cheaper if you don't do the
: tour and the hot dogs. If you get
: the party room, you can cook your
: own dogs at home and bring them in
: with a couple of bags of chips and
: some sodas.
:
: If that seems too much, how about
: going bowling? You could have a pool
: party at Rec. 2. There's a $100.00
: deposit to rent the pool and the
: rate is $10 per hour. There's also a
: charge to have a lifeguard at $12.50
: per hour (2 hour minimum). The pool
: hours are in the evening only (5-9
: pm) so you can probably get off just
: having a couple of pizzas, soda and
: a cake.
:
: I know 12 is a hard age to find
: something fun (and cheap!) for the
: kids to do(especially for boys). I
: applaud you for being a single dad
: and trying to get this together for
: your son. I hope this helps...these
: are just some things that worked for
: me and my kids. Good luck!

: I'm a single Dad and am pretty much
: clueless what to do for my son's
: 12th b-day. He wants to have 6-7
: friends get together. Does anyone
: have any ideas how I can entertain
: these boys without spending a
: million bucks? I checked Ultra
: Zone, but it's expensive. My son
: doesn'y want a home party, which is
: cool, but $$$ is the factor. Any
: help would be much appreciated!
