IMHO, anytime someone writes an article like this (even though it is rife with common misperceptions) it is a positive step for our cause. I guess I'm more militant and definitely not apologetic about fur fashion. It was still a good commentary.

I do have one observation. It would seem that fur for men is commonly associated with the hip hop movement, and I wonder why? Even with some of our "heroes" in the fur trade, like Kaufman Furs in New York, the image is that furs for men are mostly for the African American male. You just don't see many pictures of Caucasian men in contemporary furs. Am I seeing things differently than others?
