Hi Mary,
Was this child seen by a neurologist?
I am suspicious that the little guy may have a medical problem e.x. cerebral palsy.
Was the nipple of the bottle cut to allow for an easier flow? That is also a clue as to poor feeding skills and muscle tone coordination.
I like NDT and Beckman Oral Motor training. There are a few Oral Motor/Feeding evals out there now. Try amazon.
