I am working with a student in the junior high school. He has received speech therapy since he was in preschool to address his apraxia. He no longer receives a direct service, but he has recurrent asthma attacks. They think his apraxia is caused by a defect somewhere between his chest & throat. I have never heard of that before. Does anyone have any input?
