Passing of UTA Baseball Alum

It's with a heavy heart that I post this message. Last Wednesday (8/1/07) Danny Campos (Pitcher '77-80) left this earth to join the Lord in Heaven.
Members of the '77-80 teams may remember that Danny and I were like brothers. We grew up playing baseball in Puerto Rico and were lucky enough to come to Texas and play for Coach McBroom at UTA. I didn't see much of Danny in the last 10 years but kept up to date by talking to his parents. He had been fighting health problems and I guess he couldn't do it any longer. May he rest in peace.
