Posted by Julie Gould The 23rd of this month marked 6 yrs. that Clay has been gone. As much as time can heal bit by bit, he is DEEPLY missed. Recently I remembered that after Clay's death, Clay's mom, Sherry, passed out some pages in self addressed stamped envelopes for friends and family to write memories of Clay on. Many of his friends said that it was too difficult then, to write, and would later. We received half or less back. This book is primarily for Logan, when she's older. For her to learn more about her dad as well as laugh at the great stories that involve her dad. That is the best! - remembering the "baseball stories", etc. So if you would, this summer could you please type out or write something about Clay to his family or his daughter? I really want this project somewhat finished. I don't want to pull it out in 10 yrs. and say, "oh, we never finished that". It needs to be done. And I know everyone meant well and everyone's lives are busy, but if you could make the time - your story or memory will make one little girl's heart light up some day.
