Posted by Mike Snapp on March 23, 2006, 12:17 am -Not nearly enough representation of former Mavs from this decade. I know there's a lot of us, and I know several check out the site, so let's pick up the pace, fellas. -I realize this horse has been beaten into submission, but Moe, we need you man. Once every eight months ain't gonna cut it. At the very least get yourself a ghost writer (like maybe Batlle, it's not like he does anything anyway). -As I write this I am able to look to my immediate right and see my 2005 UTA Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament Championship Trophy. I'm unable to remember exactly what our team shot, but I'll never forget the number of MY shots that we used: 3. Which, incidentally, is the number of golf balls that I saw every time I looked down to swing. That thing is fun, but I (along with my liver) am glad it only occurs once a year. -Great pictures of that mid-70's roadie. And it seems that there is a great story that goes along with it. That got me thinking: we should hold a road-trip story contest. Let any former Mav(s) post a story (PG-13 or tamer, of course, unless Burrow signs off on an R-rated contest) from a road trip. There needn't be a prize, just the satisfaction of knowing your story was the best. Sorry this post is so long. It's just that I'm a proud UTA Baseball Alumni and I enjoy reading everyone else's posts, even if I have no idea who they are or what they're talking about. This is a great fraternity to be a part of, and I've never met a former player I didn't like. Except Dave Engelson. Go Mavs!

It's great to see some action back at the site. There was about two months last fall with nary a post/update. A couple of things, though: 7
