Hi I have a question that I do not know if it is answerable. My mother cat had kittens and now they are 4 weeks old. Well now she is trying to move them in the oddest places, right near the litter box, on the couch when people are on it, or she just drops them in the middle of the floor and walks away. She has 5 kittens and sometimes she just moves three of them and other times she moves all of them. I know mother cats usually move their kittens, but why the odd places and is there something I can do to make this stop happening. She has a very large box for her and them so its not like she is confined. Is she going thru something mentally? I ask this becasue she has been beating up my other male cat, when he has done nothing. Any help to these questions will be better then I am doing.
