HD-DVD by the DVD forum Remember DVD+RW IS NOT A DVD STANDARD!!! THEREFORE IT WILL NEVER KEEP UP WITH THE REAL DVD-RW STANDARD THIS IS ANOTHER PLOT FOR SONY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD, HP, DELL are in on this two so watch out !!! --Previous Message--

How can you even call the "+" media (I will not call it a standard, if it is its a poor one) a DVD? If they are not supported by the DVD forum they can not be a DVD its as easy as that. It is very misleading to the general public to call them a DVD standard. Another Sony media ha will all know what happened with beta-max!!! As far as your panasonic dvd burner goes its another sony product, a devision of sony. Therefore what do you expect!!! Another good example of the poor media so call "standard" which is "+" is DVD+R DL, most new drives support it, but the media ha! £6 (about $10)per disc!! They are great at making coasters!!! The DVD forum does not make the same mistake like the + boys, at rushing the "standard" out of the lab! Only now has the DVD-R DL standard has been approved!!
vs
Blue-Ray (BD) by the "+" boys

: and my Panasonic DVD recorder won't
: work with them, says "not a

: My Maxell "DVD+R" discs,
: more expensive, work fine. What is
: with the plus and minus?
