We have spent all our funds on the suite at work...and it rocks! But I need to spend more time with my family, so I'm looking to build an offline suite at home, so I can continue to work once the kids are asleep! I have a Dual PIII 700mhz system with 1gig of ram, 3 7200 HDD's, 60,40 and 80gigs. 2 in removable bays! I'm looking for a RT edit card (DV and Analogue) that will perform well in this system. When I say perform well, I mean quality DV codec, realtime dissolve. No tech hassles. All my supers, etc will be added later in the compile! I have tracked down an RT200, but it's not cheap for older technology (and it is famous for it's tricky setup) Can I run a later model e.g the RTX.10 on my machine, or will I have to track down an older board like the RT2500 (these are difficult to come by for a reasonable price)??? Help
