Can't capture video

Hi,
The installation went fine.
But when I tried to capture Analog video (don't have firewire),
I'd get the general error from Prem 6: Error occurred during capture with no explanation.
Also monitored the BOB out, and it also has no video.
Does this mean the BOB is bad ?
Is the video path from BOB video-in to PCI codec and back out to BOB video-out ?
I am trying to determine if hardware is bad. Already replaced G400.
