I recently upgraded my computer an purchased a new Gateway 710X. The system is equipped with a Pentium 4, 512MB RAM, 200GB Hard Drive, 80GB Slave Drive, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Video and XP operating system. After I installed Premiere, Matrox RT2500 Card and Matrox Tools I stared Premiere. I tried to view a AVI file, the video is distorted (large scattered pixels). When I stop the video and wait about 39 seconds the still image comes up clear as a bell. If I try to capture from my SONY TRV-38 I get the same distorted video. I disabled hyperthreading, I removed and installed the card, software twice. I would apperciate any help.
